Setting the Record Straight - Do you hear the Faraway?

This is the first part of an uplifting novel, told in a number of vignettes, about a small model Viking boat that is washed out to sea and drifts around the Gulf Stream leaving a mystical mark on the lives on people along the way. The voyage starts in 18th century New France, and ends in present day New Orleans. The need to be reminded of the subtle effect of a positive Catholic atmosphere, missing in much of modern fiction, inspired Chuck Coughlin to create this heart-warming portrait of ordinary and extraordinary people.
