Setting the Record Straight - Crusade or Pilgrimage?

Until 150 years ago The Crusades were called The Pilgrimages. The Crusaders were not colonists, It is important to realize that they looked at things very differently than Muslims or than people of today.These brave knights were  securing the Holy Sepulcher from being further defiled.
