Setting the Record Straight - Albigensians and Cathars

One of the apparently serious criticisms of our Church is in the matter of the the Albigensian Crusade or Cathar Crusade. It was a 20-year military campaign ( 1209 – 1229 AD) initiated by Pope Innocent III to eliminate Catharism in Languedoc, in the south of France.the matter.
