Episode 9: Our Catholic Way
Thursday Sep 03, 2015
Thursday Sep 03, 2015
Laura Catherine Hudgens grew up in the Disciples of Christ denomination. She never contemplated leaving. Her husband was also a member of the DoC and they both served as deacons. Why leave? Because the Lord had other plans for them and that discovery began with the question: "Does it matter how you worship?" I asked that same question. In both cases, the answers lead us along the road to Rome. I know you'll enjoy Laura's story!
Brief Show Notes:
-- Laura Catherine Hudgens blogs at Charming Farming. She is also a contributing writer at Shine Catholic.
-- Laura expresses her deep appreciation of the sacraments because they keep her close to Christ.
-- Laura shares she was introduced to the doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved through Baptist functions, which gave her cause to question her own salvation. She explains how becoming Catholic has given her a clearer understanding of Christ's mercy and she no longer fears eternity.
