What do Catholics believe about death, heaven, hell, and purgatory? Find out here, with Catholic Answers apologist, Karlo Broussard.
Questions Covered:
- 05:04 - How can we reconcile the fact that God says he knew us before he knit us in our mother’s womb and the Catholic teaching that a soul comes into existence at conception?
- 14:03 - I have heard before that when Jesus died, he descended to the dead. Where did he go to retrieve the dead?
- 18:34 - Will we have free will at the Last Judgement?
- 29:34 - I know it is ultimately our decision whether we go to heaven or hell. Wouldn’t it be better for us not to have free will so we can all be in heaven?
- 45:07 - Is Judas in hell? What does the Catholic Church say about this?
- 52:25 - Is purgatory more like heaven or hell? If our loved ones go to hell, how can heaven truly be paradise for us?

Forte Catholic Ep 185-Video Games, the Spiritual Lyfe & Comedian Aaron Weber
Friday Apr 24, 2020
Friday Apr 24, 2020
Fr. Anthony & Taylor have been playing many a video game during the quarantine and Taylor tries to justify it by making it sound spiritual and finding in the games positive and negative parallels to his spiritual life. He also weighs himself live on the show(unplanned) to see how he's doing physically during the lockdown.(It's wild!)
Comedian Aaron Weber stops by the show again. The point of bringing him on was to bring joy and levity during a time we all need it, but instead Fr. Anthony yells at people and tries to teach Aaron things. Poor Fr. Anthony. But Aaron still brings deep, hearty laughter. :) Follow Aaron @realaaronweber on all the social media platforms.
In the final segment, Taylor kinda goes off the rails and Father tries desperately to keep him and the show on track.
