Following Christ can be tough. I know as well as you do that it's not easy. So what does it take to be a disciple? It takes a conscious choice to be like Jesus every day. To do that, means spending time with Him and witnessing about Him to others. This week I welcome
Jeff Cavins and we discuss situational awareness and how to look for opportunities throughout your day to pray for someone or witness to Christ. Being a disciple is THAT simple!
We have a front row seat to the future of our Church and the future looks bright! Tizoc Rosales is the Director of Advancement for the Saint Paul Seminary and the Saint John Vianney College Seminary in Minnesota. As he tells us he’s not in the business of forming priests, he is in the business of forming MEN.
Young men, Tizoc and I have a message for you. You’ve lived through some things and seen some things that have caused you to pause. You’ve seen the institutions we thought were stable fall away. 9-11 and other recent events have forever changed us. It’s time for your generation to turn to God. We are all sinful and we all need healing. The time is now. You are our future.

Men you are standing in the breach between the devil and your family. Be a man with a disciplined prayer life. Be a contemplative thinking holy thoughts throughout the day. Put on sacramentals. Read the Bible daily. Go to Mass every week. Quit making excuses and be a man! Jesse Romero joins me this week and together we are going to give you some tools to take into spiritual battle with you!
I often share my testimony of my return to the Catholic faith. This week Keith Nester joins me and we have a great discussion about both of our conversions. Keith was raised a United Methodist pastors kid and became a pastor himself. As he became more engaged in his faith he encountered a number of Catholics who showed him the true beauty of the Catholic faith.
Keith became inundated with books, videos, and other material that simply blew his mind. Catholicism got him and he eventually converted to the Catholic faith. Once he abandoned himself he was locked into that wave, ready for the ride of his life. I love this guy and can’t wait for you to hear how he has totally sold out his heart for Jesus!
Do you realize every one of us is meant to have a personal relationship with Jesus? I get it….life gets a little uncomfortable, it doesn’t seem to fit, we take ourselves too seriously and we end up missing out on the simplicity of what it means to give our lives to Jesus and experience the infusion of his love and his truth.
My Cajun friend, Karlo Broussard joins me this week to discuss how to be in the world…..but not of the world. We need to learn how to properly order our goods in our lives. Let me tell you, pleasure and material goods will not last forever. Remember memento mori. We are going to die. We must ensure we possess the ultimate good. One that never will pass…a relationship with God.
This week I welcome back Long Ride Home cast member Grady Dyke. Grady never realized a simple ride to the Big Bend with a group of Catholic men would turn into something greater. Riding in a pack with men he had never met before taught Grady unity and trust.
We quickly learned that men can grow in their faith by working together and challenging one another to attain greatness. Want to learn how? Join Grady and I while we share our experiences on Long Ride Home as we prepare to release Season 2 in October.
You’ve probably heard people talk about hearing this small voice. I bet you’ve wondered how exactly do we hear that still small voice within each of us? We have to be quiet. Life requires us to step out in faith and see where God leads us. We may not know what is beyond the horizon but it is worth the ride.
This week Long Ride Home cast member Tony Orband and I reflect upon the challenges and triumphs of seasons one and two as we prepared to film the third season of Long Ride Home.
Why spend time with Mary? Why not go right to the Lord? What is Mary’s role in our lives?
Sometimes we need to set down our rosaries and have a heart to heart talk with Our Lady in good times and bad. Father Don Calloway and Bear discuss how to develop a sweeter intimacy with Mary.
Kendra Von Esh left behind the hustle and bustle of the corporate world to pursue a calling to evangelize for the Lord. That may sound simple but it was far from it. Kendra was focused on making money, climbing the ladder, with little time to pursue the faith she was born into.
One day she received a phone call that would change her life forever. Life became less about her and more about Him. Listen in and discover how Kendra’s journey can be your journey too!

We need to work together as men to build a community that challenges, equips, and mobilizes each other in the art of chivalry and being a knight of virtue. Jerome Richter returns to talk about the group he created to support young men.
The Knights of Virtue helps young men have a fraternal community to hold each other accountable and to show them what it means to be a man in this secular world. In a world where men are told to be selfish, “get while the getting’s good” and do whatever pleases you and makes you happy we need to instill the virtues in young men more today than ever.
Learn how you can play a part in guiding this generation of young men in becoming godly, virtuous men.
I have great admiration for those with the entrepreneurial spirit who use their skills to evangelize. Robert Tunmire is one of those people and his journey is incredible.
For much of his life Robert was not really interested in faith. He didn’t have anything against the faith….he just didn’t have time for it. But that all changed when after wondering in the desert for 40 years Robert found God.
You are going to have to tune in to hear what happened to Robert over a 72 hour business trip that set him on the path to God eventually landing him in the Catholic faith evangelizing men. From no faith life to being involved with the Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men (https://centexcatholic.com/) and the Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance (https://catholicmenleaders.org/) be inspired by Robert’s story.
There are many challenges facing the Church and Christianity today. We have a clear choice. Will you stand back and watch? Or will you fight for our Church? I know what I’m doing!
On this week’s episode, Long Ride Home cast member Father Mark Goring gives us a clear path forward and a message of hope, courage, and truth! If you don’t know which direction to turn than this episode is one you will not want to miss.
In today’s upside down world men are seeking freedom. Freedom from addictions like pornography, gadgets, and sports. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a progam to help men break these shackles?
Nathaniel Binversie is the Director of Missions for Exodus 90. I’m stoked to share with you this week all about this program that has created a proactive way for men to develop self-mastery. Exodus 90 is having significant impact and is bringing men together in fraternal brotherhood preparing them lead as fathers, husbands, and brothers in Christ.
Boy do I have a story to share with you this episode! The Church is big and as it has grown it has encountered various cultures and practices. When it does this it does not come into a culture and destroy it, it seeks out the beauty of those cultures and integrates their practices with the Catholic faith. One example is the Native American practice of sweats.
Jerome Richter VP of Public Affairs at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND tells us his experience in a sweat and how it united him in a lifelong brotherhood to a friend who became a priest. It was intense. 270 degrees of intense! Spiritually, it was an hour and a half of pure focus….pray or die!
I think in life sometimes we get hit right between the eyes with a reality check. When that happens we realize we need to make some changes. That’s what life is all about…growth and change. Such was the case when Dallas Carter faced reality and shed 200+ pounds.Â
I’m anxious for you to hear Dallas’ message about losing weight and staying healthy. Whether it’s walking, running, biking or jiu jitsu find an activity you enjoy and challenge yourself to get in shape. No excuses, anyone can do this. Learn how on this week’s Bear Woznick Adventure.
